My first skateboard was a gift from a friend, which I had the idea to ask for after a dear friend nagged me for 2 years. Today, I feel very happy for accepting the challenge. Skateboarding has become a passion for me. And, last week, something amazing happened: I landed my first trick on a video call on Discord with some friends. It was an exciting moment and they were all cheering and celebrating. The trick was named "First Flip" and, although I am far from being a professional skater, this moment represents a great achievement for me. It's incredible how a simple object can lead us to discover new passions and skills. The name of the maneuver was given by Vlad, he is very creative.... I thank my friend for giving me the skateboard and my mentor for insisting so much that I start skating. If it weren't for them, I would never have discovered this new passion.
