The notion of "screen peeking", "screen watching", "screen cheating", "screen scoping", or whatever you would call looking at the other player screens on a split-screen match to know where they are, is as old as split-screen itself because of the way it works, which was even brought up by @acidyo and @therealflaws through comments back when I talked about split-screen. Acidyo: lol I remember playing COD in the military during the evenings on splitscreen and holy shit people loved cheating by watching where the others were so they could be prepared to kill them.
