Src Ah yes, the Rangers came to play yesterday. Nathan Eovaldi was absolutely dealing unfortunately and the A's just kept swinging into the wind. For the A's, Luis Severino had a rough first inning before settling down pretty quickly for the most part. Had he had a better first inning, the domino effect of the game could have played out a bit differently. Jake Burger of the Rangers really had Severino's number in particular as he hit two homers and had four RBI. Yikes. As I am only beginning covering the A's more closely, I learned that Brent Rooker has been out and has no set date to return which is obviously not ideal. Shea Langeliers is a pretty promising player who plays catcher. I also am intrigued by Carlos Cortes's potential. But yeah, I am still learning. It was nice to Lawrence Butler hit a solo homer and prevent the A's from getting shutout. Just going with the flow here! It's such an awesome feeling re-entering the A's fandom once again.
