The question posed to us by the Silver Bloggers community this week has struck me like a distant yet persistent echo. Would you like to be able to relive moments from your past? For many, the answer conjures up images of travels, youthful romances or financial decisions. For me, the answer has a woman’s name, a date etched in my memory, and a weight on my soul that neither time nor justice has managed to lift fully. *The December I would change to save a life. If I could retrace my steps, I wouldn’t seek success or fortune. I would simply walk backwards to 13 December 1994. The girl who grew up in my memories I met Carla when she was just six years old. Over the course of a decade, I watched her transform from a curious little girl into a young woman full of life. To me, she was the sister that life had given me.
