Today my post is dedicated once again to the crisis in my country, Venezuela. If at any point it was thought that our reality had changed a little because the president had been taken away and there was a different interim president from the same party but following orders from someone else, it is not so clear that our rights as Venezuelans continue to be violated, including the right to peaceful protest as established by our constitution. Although the attacks are not as extreme as they once were, with people being shot, beaten, and taken to torture centers simply for thinking differently or believing that we deserve a better quality of life.
