Before playing Splinterlands battles, the important thing you should keep in mind is that you must have enough cards so you can play the battle easily. As I explained yesterday in a detailed post about the rental system how you can rent cards and how you can use them in battle. Cards play a very important role in battles. Right now I have a total of four cards which are very few to win a battle. So I need either to buy more cards or rent some good monsters that I understand are strong. Today I thought to play a ranked battle and see how my cards perform. My cards are good but because they are few, in high mana battles I cannot fill all slots which does not give me a good team combination. Today I got a 45 mana battle. If it was a low mana battle I could have won with my monsters cards even they are few but because it was a high mana battle I only had four cards and the remaining mana was wasted.
