As we walked around the city of Montevideo, I was struck by the many graffiti and murals in various parts of the city, including in public places, such as the school in the photo above. But especially in the area known as the old city was where I found the greatest concentration of these striking works of street art. These photos were a while ago and I don't remember in detail the name of the authors, although I'm sure they must be fairly well-known artists in Uruguay. I wonder if any of them have dabbled in crypto art or nft, I think contemporary art, but especially this urban art aesthetic, has a lot of potential in the NFT world.
