Quebradas del Amor (Valley's of Love) 💝 I planned to stay a few days in Iquitos and then head towards the triple border to start the year 2026 in Brazil, but things turned out differently. I was invited to spend New Year’s Eve in Padre Cocha, an island near Iquitos. Could it be? There I thought: What rush do I have, except my own mind and my own expectations? Take the time to live the journey. The destination is built step by step. I ask myself: How do I wish to close this intense year of 2025 and set intentions for the new one? Thus I arrive at the Quebradas del Amor, a magical place in the middle of the jungle. Pure nature: river, animals, birds… no electricity. I reconnect. There I bathe naked again in the rivers, contemplate the dancing fire and the shining stars, sing with fellow travelers to the rhythm of the jungle, share without screens in between.
