What is happening right now and for a while is Kei Trucks (Aka Kei Vehicles, Mini Trucks) were being tried to be banned by The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and it caused an actual problem in Texas and other states like Massachusetts and Georgia, but in the latter state which is Georgia, it's now banned as of May 2025... But, now the are major additions to the Allow list for Kei Vehicles (Kei Trucks, Mini Truck, Kei Cars and Kei Vans) which is Texas and now Colorado (the latter will be allowed in two years in 2027, and by then it will be 30 states that are allowed and 17 to be restricted or banned. Texas was a major problem that it took the Lone Star Kei Trucks group to call and deal with that of the bans and the sticking point of it was the 25 year import rule for any vehicle outside the United States. I am excited to see Kei Vehicles in Texas at this point in time, because it is now codified into law there and as for the case in Louisiana, it's been leg
