I loved reading, and that’s when I started writing as well. I was very fond of music and art (painting, sculpture, architecture). I had a few close friends with whom I’d go to the movies or out for hamburgers. But sports weren’t among the activities I was good at. P.E. was the subject I liked the least. And it must have been among the ones where I got the worst grades, along with math, physics, and chemistry.
