It has been one week since I started working at a warehouse and in that period, I've learnt a lot about myself. I realized that I have more endurance than I give myself credit for and that I'm very patient. On a number of occasions, I've seen my patience and simplicity tested but I've overcome them by maintaining composure in the circumstance. I've tried to be somewhat friendly with colleagues because I'm normally a social person but henceforth, I'll just maintain my distance. For what it's worth, nothing bad actually happened in the work place. I just sense from conversations that I overhear that I should not really be a party to the conversations. Anyway, like I said at the start, I'm very grateful for the opportunity and I intend to make the best out of it. I've gotten a couple of offers since I started this job and while they pay slightly better, they're the angels I don't know and I'm not ready to start exploring. Well, I am exploring but not other warehouse jobs. The way I see it
