During my trip to Carúpano, the capital of the Bermúdez municipality in Sucre state, I had the opportunity to visit several beaches, plazas, and some churches located in the historic center, including the Santa Rosa Cathedral, also known as the Carúpano Cathedral. In front of the cathedral is a plaza of the same name, which features several concrete walkways, a beautiful fountain, and ornamental plants surrounding it. In the center of the plaza stands the beautiful fountain. On the day of my visit, the fountain was already running, and it's lovely to watch the water cascade down, continuing its cycle of rising and falling. Besides the fountain, the plaza features a walkway made of mesh fabric, which, according to a local woman, is regularly used in December to display lights and decorations.
