Hi guys, I've been using an app called Headspace for meditation, and it has been really good. I just achieved a milestone of meditating for 10 days in a row! The headspace app includes guided meditations and it is a lot better than the last time I tried to meditate before discovering this app. I used to think meditation meant not thinking, and that is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE for me. I wanted to do well at it way back when I last tried (we're talking high school here), but just trying not to think was excruiatingly hard for me. However, that's not how the headspace meditations work. They are guided meditations and they are all about focus and will tell you to focus on your breathing or focus on how your body feels and they also are about learning to notice and acknowledge thoughts and feelings without responding to them. It is not about not thinking. That's not to say it isn't hard - focusing on one thing is not easy for anyone, and in the case of people with ADHD like me, that is literall
