First, there are more than two futures. There are an infinite number of futures, but that takes a lot of explaining. So, how can i talk about "The Two Futures"? Well, time is a messed up thing. We see time as linear. Time is actually cyclical AND a spiral moving outward. We can't really see these cycles, because our minds are hardwired to see time as linear, to understand time as linear. Time as cyclical is something we have to imagine. To plot. To analyze. This is what astrologers do, when they do a birth chart. So, again, how am talking about "The Two Futures"? What two futures? You can sorta map a timeline onto a spinning disk. Most of the time a person/community/country/world goes around and around the disk in almost the same groove. Loosely speaking, you do not get out of the groove until you solve your personal puzzle. The same "thing" is brought up over and over again.
