This Sunday, even though the weather wasn't the best, I decided to take a trip to the seaside. I went to Sottomarina in the province of Venice, a beautiful seaside resort that probably not everyone knows about, at least not those who live outside Italy. But the municipality of which Sottomarina is part, Chioggia, is certainly more famous than this beautiful village, which is now famous throughout the world. When I come to the seaside in winter, I usually come because there are fewer people, even if it's not always like this, but above all because it allows you to take a beautiful walk. I always go where there is this dam that was built several years ago to protect the beach area of this tourist resort and I really like going there, sitting down and maybe even reading a good book in peace.
