A hot day forecast for my trip into the city for lunch with a friend. Was a strange day - stayed cloudy and not as hot as forecast Hit the train interchanges perfectly which gave me a good window to walk from the city to Kings Cross. This photo captured my fancy - heaps of Lime bikes and advertisement for parliament - Bloodsuckers Shot across Hyde Park with some autumn colours showing Down the hill autumn colours Walk across Darlinghurst Road - more colour Nice lunch. Cloud stayed in place making it not too hot to walk back via The Domain and behind St Marys Cathedral A new find for me - St Marys Cathedral College just opposite The Domain - cathedral behind. Now I know why it is College Road And a portrait shot including cathedral and Sky Tower More autumn colour framing for the cathedral More autumn colours on College Road - across the shoulder of a statue with Queen Victoria hidden on the left and the church. The modern building is MLC Centre - a big life company Tall skinny Victoria
