Very close to my home is the municipality of San Diego, in the state of Carabobo. By car, from where I live, it's about 20 minutes. It is the most organized, cleanest and best skate culture city in the state. Naturally, it is not surprising that they have a Skatepark that at its peak was one of the best in Venezuela. It was built less than 10 years ago and has an area that not only encompasses the typical skateboard skate, but also an area for BMX and inline skates. San Diego's Skate Park is located in the highest area of that city. Since I don't have a car, I had to take a bus; which I did. The funny thing is that it doesn't go all the way to the park; in fact, it only goes so far. So, I had to walk along with my boyfriend who lives in that city in order to get there. It is a challenging climb. From the instant we started the hike you could sense that we were starting to climb up a mountain; the base at least. It was a rainy day that day. It hadn't stopped raining since early morning
