The walk I'm sharing with you today for Wednesday Walk is one that my son and I took on December 29 in Hyde Park, Chicago. We had to go to the dry cleaners to pick up some clothes, and that morning was the first snowy one during my visit to the Windy City last month. My son lives near Midway Plaisance, a huge green area, although I should say white in this case, haha in south Chicago. This is where I start this tour. The park was covered in snow, and if you look closely at this first photo, you can see an ice skating rink in the background. It was cold and windy, so I went out prepared to cover up as much as I could. We crossed the park via Woodland Ave., heading north. In this photo, you can see the tower of Rockefeller Chapel, one of the University of Chicago's iconic buildings. At the corner of 58th Street, we passed in front of the Robie House, designed by architect Frank
