Yesterday we went to the zoo — no real plans, just a change of scenery and a chance to slow down a little. But somehow it turned into something more. We decided to bring a vintage telephoto lens we recently found at a flea market — a Japanese Yashica ML 200mm. We used it on our Sony a7c, and the best part — my husband made the adapter himself and 3D printed it 🛠️ Honestly, we didn’t expect much from this setup… but now we can say — we absolutely love it. There’s something very special about the way this lens renders an image. It’s not clinically sharp, not perfect — but it feels alive. Soft light, deep shadows, a sense of presence… like it doesn’t just capture a scene, but slightly interprets it 🎞️ And visually, the lens itself is just as satisfying. Even though it’s a telephoto, it feels surprisingly elegant — slim, balanced, not overly heavy. The kind of lens you actually want to carry around all day. There’s something about that vintage design — simple, tactile, honest 🤍 This koa
