SPOILERS AHEAD!!! Chapters Read: 18-25 It's funny how Steve is considered evil based on Mr. Crepsley, but meanwhile Darren also decides to straight up steal Madam Octa. Darren is the more mischievous type and Steve has shown more overall intensity and ability to lash out. But still, Darren's actions were very reckless too and had much more dire consequences so, it is interesting to compare the two a bit. Also, Darren admits that Steve would immediately tell the doctors about Madam Octa if Steve were in his shoes and Darren in Steve's. Whereas Darren was being a bit cowardly for a while. Destiny.... It's wild how Mr. Tiny has played such a role. It's so obvious now in these re-reads. I wonder if Steve had never been told he was evil how he would have turned out. It seems he was always destined to be an edgy guy but it's a pretty tragic situation I guess.
