Yesterday felt like one of those days that arrive as a gift. The sun filtered through the trees of San Cristóbal’s Metropolitan Park, and although the obstacles were still there—strollers crossing the ramps, curious onlookers who don’t understand the rhythm of skateboarding—the energy was different. Lighter. More ours. I spent hours between laughter, photos, and tricks. I couldn’t do jumps or demanding moves: I slightly twisted my ankle and still have a small bruise that reminds me the body speaks too. But that didn’t stop me. Sometimes, skateboarding doesn’t need speed—just presence. I love sharing this location. It’s not perfect, but it has soul. And showcasing it on platforms like Liketu allows me to connect with those who see beyond the trick: the framing, the texture, the moment.
