Hello Hivers! Let me tell you a story about my #sunconure Meet Mongo! His name used to be spelt Mango, but we usually talk to him in Cantonese (where 🥭 is pronounced more like mongo than mango) and we didn't want to confuse him. We got him as a baby, maybe 2-3 months old. Oh the stories I could tell, if I only knew how to put it in words. Since we already started with names, I'll be honest, he wasn't supposed to be named after a fruit. You see, we got him around Christmas last year a bird that came to our family for Christmas. I was going to name him Turkey🦃 I couldn't do it. It was as though he knew what being a Turkey would mean, and he would give me the silent treatment. After going through a few more names, we noticed he would respond to Mongo. I suppose some really pick their own names. He was so young when we got him, he was still being fed formula.
