Sometimes I amuse myself with the most random and stupid things! In this case, I was thinking about how much we talk about scalability of this, that and the other... and I chuckled to myself and thought "well I wish I could scale my LIFE better!" I have been a rather prolific writer for almost 50 years, and I have always "partitioned" my writing because if I were to put everything in a single place it would amount to what we once upon a time called "post flooding." Besides, the audiences for psychology, cats, stamp collecting and eBay entrepreneurship are pretty different. What does that have to do with scalability? One of my great challenges in life has always been that I don't know how to do anything in a half-assed fashion. The result is that I take on something that is supposed to be a 4-hours-a-week part-time gig, but I take it on in such a fashion that it would require a staff of five, working 40 hours a week, to keep up with it.
