Golden Tones in Retiro The Retiro neighborhood is and always will be one of the favorite places when choosing where to capture moments, people, urban landscapes, and, of course, architecture. In fact, I believe it is the most important area in terms of classic-style buildings and structures that also have interesting histories, apart from the San Nicolás neighborhood. So, we can start with the majestic Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament, inaugurated in 1916. Although it is hidden now, this was not the case when it was inaugurated. It is one of the most impressive cathedrals in the area. For those who like wide-angle perspectives, this is the place and the objective. You could say that it is on an alleyway, so if you want to photograph this cathedral, you will probably need at least an 18mm lens. This is another one of my favorite alleyways because you can create a beautiful scene in this place, with the old buildings on the side and the modern business buildings in the background. That
