Last year, our road was invaded with heavy machinery like the first photo. A logging company had purchased an 80 acre parcel of land to strip it of the forest that lived on it. This next picture was the only one I could find in the archives although I know there are others. It was shot through a lens of my sunglasses which is why the color is interesting. If you look at the left side, all of the forest that stretched on forever (or so we all thought) was wiped. More machinery. So they cut many roads on the mountain and it became a desolate area of dirt and debris. Spring is here, so it will be interesting to see what grows. You may be wondering where this is headed. Well, when I arrived at work on Wednesday, there was another form of ‘destruction’ going on. I had been told it wasn’t supposed to happen until May. 🙄 I usually park there while at work. Needless to say, that’s not possible right now. 😏 In this next picture, the clinic is the white building to the right of the restaurant.
