The current shockwave of the War in Iran has a lot of my colleagues complaining about inflation, especially Petrol prices which have gone up considerably. A lot of them seem to be wearing 'economic pressure' on their foreheads and you could almost hear their prayers for some kind of reprieve. I don't why these days when I am under any form of significant stress I look at the past. It used to be the opposite; I used to look towards the future in the hopes that things will turn around. It's not like I have lost Faith, but the past certainly comes with a different kind of appeal -an assurance of what was once felt. My childhood and teens are often the most referenced years, before my days spent in college. The memories then were a lot less complex, and quite vivid. I picture my late Dad, and having a house filled with my siblings and sometimes a couple of cousins together.
