I think we are at the peak of the attention economy and with all things I await its inevitable decline. However, there is certainly no shortage of effort to maximize this once in a lifetime amplification of our voices. I just do not think it is sustainable anyways, and we are seeing the rise of AI slowly but surely taking over the content space. Eventually I think interest will wane, and we will rekindle our interest for smaller, closer-knit community and perhaps even physical interactions over virtual ones. However until this happens (if ever), one of the biggest life hacks in this present age is maneuvering through the seemingly endless offers for our attention. No matter how science expands and how good medicine gets, there would perhaps be only so much it can do when it comes to life and experiences.
