Saturday was the day for this lovely, recurring event to take place once again. For me, this is the third year already and I'm not planning to break my habit of participating. It is organized by a local biker's club and it is a charity event. The main scope is to collect presents from whoever is willing to donate and take these gifts to less fortunate children hosted by orphanages. Each year the event is announced in advance, kids are asked to review their toy collection and donate what they don't use anymore and would like other kids to have them, while adults are asked to contribute with the rest, like sweets, story books, colored pencils, fruits and so on. Knowing the event takes place on Saturday, on the 13th, I had to have my pack ready, so I took out the plush toys I had for years, sitting in my drawer, bought sweets, notebooks, erasers, pencils and made two packs.
