I just missed the eclipse yesterday morning, I was up but forgot about it until it was too late. The moon was super bright afterwards... We got a bit of sun as it rose with the clouds having moved in. I went to my weekly session which went well then headed for home as the clouds were starting to look kinda cool with the thicker layers and darker clumps. Nicely the rain was holding off the entire day so I was able to get out for a ride. Forgot that the road was to be closed for railroad work and rode down the detour route... Lots more traffic than I had hoped to have around... Solid ride and got a lot faster over prior 15+ mile rides. 1h17m for this 16.25 miles and it was 1h23m for 15.25 miles before. My legs are getting stronger fast. I even set PRs for everything up to 20k. It helped there was oodles of downhill.
