The Player’s Handbook 2024: Dungeons & Dragons (DDN) is the newly revised Player’s Handbook released in September 2024. This is officially the biggest Player’s Handbook in Dungeons & Dragons history which is quite an exciting and bold statement. I was a returning player from the days of old, AKA the 3rd edition of Dungeons & Dragons. After many years away I decided to get back into playing. I skipped the 5th edition series from 2014 as this book was released and on comparing, there looked to be enough of a difference to make it worth buying the updated edition. The first difference that I noticed was the size of the book, it really was a lot thicker and felt more substantial than what I remembered the 3rd edition books being. When compared to the 5th edition from 2014 it was a bit chunkier, the artwork on the cover was a bit more vibrant as well which was nice.
