from my substack photo credit It’s been a while since my last blog post. I’ve been distant on some of my platforms. I’m back, and hopefully I'll post updates more consistently. I’m writing my first novel. I’ve been having some trouble coping with the current hellscape. My thoughts couldn’t fit in one blog post, so I decided to write a novel. As a fan of Life Is Strange games, I decided the main character, who is based on me, would have powers. I took inspiration from Alex’s empathy power in Life Is Strange: True Colors, with a twist. It’s about using my imagination to help me cope with the hellscape. I imagine myself as if I were a Life Is Strange character. If I can’t fight for the country with brawns, do it with brains. The character in my book can channel energy. She can convert someone’s sad or frightened energy to determination. Manipulate an enemy’s weakness and use it against them. The plot: After trying and failing to use her power to channel everyone’s energy to give them hope
