Hello Hive! Yesterday, we were at @altheana's parents' place. From the morning, I could feel the day was going to require a certain balance. We knew it anyway, it was planned. So no surprise. When you're freelance and you work from anywhere, the people around you sometimes struggle to understand that you're actually working. A laptop open on the kitchen table looks like internet browsing. So the principle is to set rules, not for them, but for yourself. We had things to finish on the work side. So we sat down for a few hours before deciding we'd take a break with her parents. We kept a pretty honest rhythm throughout the day, half work, half present. Switching isn't always easy. When you get into a work flow, you don't want to stop. We still managed not to mix the two too much. That's already a win. But that's going to be the deal for a good chunk of the week. We even found time to go running with @altheana.
