I just came back from the One Piece Live Action Season 2 activation event organized by Netflix. As a huge fan of One Piece, I honestly didn’t feel that excited about going at first. But my wife said it was a rare opportunity. She had a point. So we headed to Senayan Park, a shopping complex with a large park and lake right in the middle of the city. It’s located very close to the Parliament Building and just across from the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex. One thing we have to admit, when it comes to money, Netflix really doesn’t hold back. You can see it clearly in the incredibly detailed sets they build for their adaptations. Everything feels grand and high-budget. And they managed to bring that same level of spectacle to this activation event.
