It was my very first time to participate in this kind of activity involving crowd control of passengers who will ride the barge going to the Island Garden City of Samal. It was a good experience to begin with in this Lenten Season in the Philippines. Filipinos observe holidays for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday and Easter Sunday as the reminder of the final week of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus the Christ. As you can see on this picture the police dog or the bomb sniffing dog a K9 unit checked the baggages of the passengers to make sure the safety and security of the passengers riding the barge. The passengers were instructed to place their bags on the side for the K9 to check on it one by one. The passengers cooperated with the given instructions and it was for their own good. The police dog did its job very well as well as its handler. Only 40 passengers including children are allowed to get inside while others are waiting outside. Actually I felt pity for the situatio
