Walking through the center of Cabudare [ENG/ESP] Greetings walking friends of @wednesdaywalk, I wish you a happy Wednesday in the middle of the week. In recent days I took my wife to downtown Cabudare, the city where I live, to do some shopping. I parked the car and walked several blocks in search of some groceries. The first thing I found on my walk was the Plaza La Cruz, so called because of the monument located at one end of the square. It is built with old handmade bricks harmoniously placed to form two large blocks: the first is square in shape and above it is an octagonal one that ends in a beautiful metal cross with decorated edges. The whole monument is about four meters high and has been built many years ago. The square is small but elongated and in front is the town hall. There are benches and trees that provide shade for people to sit and talk. Libertador Avenue is where the stores of the area are located and on weekends it is full of shoppers who crowd the avenue with their
