Today while moving around my compound, I decided to spend some time with one of my turkeys, and it gave me a chance to really reflect on the progress I’m making. Holding it in my hands, I could feel the weight and strength it has developed over time. It reminded me that growth on the farm doesn’t happen overnight — it comes from daily care, feeding, and constant attention. When I first started raising them, it wasn’t always easy. There were times I had to adjust how I feed them and how I manage their space. But with time, I began to understand what works better, and now I can clearly see the results. What stood out to me today is how healthy this turkey looks — the feathers are well formed, and it’s active and strong. These small observations are very important because they show whether you are doing things the right way or not. Farming has taught me patience more than anything else. Whether it’s crops or animals, you have to give them time and consistent care before you see results. T
