[EN] Hello skatehive! 🚙
Hello friends. Very busy days around here. I confess that I feel a kind of FOMO or withdrawal on the days I can't blog. It's very hot in Rio, my son has been very agitated. I haven't blogged for 2 or 3 days and I've only been able to sit at the computer now on the 11th at midnight, when he fell asleep lol.
Well, my first reflection is on my content, saved for eternity. I was wondering how bullish my son is or myself in the next incarnation maybe watching my videos after years. Hive became a video book of my life. I've blogged and brought feelings here more than anywhere else.
Sometimes I use a site called imgbb to host my gifs and thumbs, I still have them all saved on my hard drive. But I would love for you to give me an idea on how to save them forever. @xvlad there's an ifps on SkateHive for this. But I also miss the time when I could easily upload my files to PeakD. Can you tell me if the loading of photos and gifs is normal at ecency?
The first time in a long time that I put an English sound as a soundtrack. A release by Playboi Carti and Travis Scott, I love trap, rap in general, and I'm open-minded about new aesthetics. Despite not being new, this duo always surprises.
To emphasize again, these videos are usually just over 1 minute long. But they are far from easy to record. I have two personal charges, all skate videos must please the general audience of the Hive community. But the hardest thing, gentlemen, is to please the skaters' eyes haha.
At SkateHive I find a healthy environment, where everyone supports any type of skateboarding. But I'm a street guy. Root Skateboard. Even though I don't have time to go to a skatepark or a new spot, I always think about how to do my best so that skaters look and think: wow, he did his best!
It's not the best I'd like, but it's the best I can get with what I have on hand. Good basic tricks that I have mastered for years. Half an hour, an hour to record this under 40º Celsius. At the moment my son is at school. Including factors such as transportation (when I go further afield), or complaining neighbors, security of stores or commercial buildings. Since I literally record on hot asphalt on the street, cars are my biggest obstacle. Are many. And they always stop in front of the camera lol.
Then I run home, choose a song, write this text for you, make gifs, make thumbnails, make prints, edit photos. All in a short time, so that I can produce other types of content, such as music. Well, that's not a complaint. I'm just so grateful to Hive for all the opportunity it's giving me. From becoming financially independent, on chain, to a gateway to stronger drugs, Hive was my gateway to crypto. And that I will always carry in my heart. I just need to emphasize how much effort there is behind everything here. I skate with parts that my friend gave me. I wear completely old Vans, torn up, without soles. But I do everything with love. And with a much greater objective.
This shit right here is SkateHive, and it changed my life!
