The result of the temperatures dropping near freezing overnight, after a day of clear skies that allowed the water and land to be warmed by the sun all day. The warmth lead to humidity, which then condensed into fog at night, which then rapidly shifted again when the sun came up. So sure my boat was maybe 5-7 Celsius overnight, but then I get to see this the moment I look out my window in the morning. I had to quickly make space on my phone to capture it, cause my phone was full, and I had just woken up. Otherwise I probably would’ve filmed, and took pictures till it dissipated. Which ended up being only a few minutes, and then it cleared. Had I gotten up earlier, I would’ve gotten outside in my rowboat, and captured my own boat in the fog, rather than my neighbour’s seen from my hatch. Makes me want to get up early everyday, just so I do
