[ENG] Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. I am once again participating in the contest organized by @digi-me, CCC's Street Art Contest #293. Cumaná never ceases to amaze me with its street art; around every corner, it treats us to beautiful murals, brimming with history and vibrant colors. I discovered this one after leaving a group dance class. When the class ended, my classmates and I walked toward the bus stop; along the way, we stopped to admire the Hernán Marín Amphitheater, a work that is part of a project called Cinta Costera. The mural depicts the composer, musician, and performer of Venezuelan eastern joropo, Hernán Marín, alongside the San Antonio de la Eminencia Castle, a National Historic Monument and an icon of the city of Cumaná. The renowned “King of Cotorreo,” born in Cumaná, Sucre State, was the leading exponent of numerous eastern genres, excelling particularly in the joropo estribillo.
