We left the house at 10, heading to the Treasury Office to settle the taxes for the properties here in DD. While we took good care of those in the other town early in the year, we failed to do the same here. Thankfully, we received a reminder note on Monday, so we didn't want to postpone it further. After clearing the taxes, we decided to try the small food house just below the municipal hall for its famed Pancit Batil Patung, a dish said to be a specialty of Tuguegarao City. We read about it on Facebook, so we were curious. We didn't expect much, but we were quite excited. We took one of the small tables on the balcony for a view.
