Hello Worldmappin Community! The Slovak Tatra Mountains offer a vast number of hiking trails, some more challenging than others. So far, I've had the opportunity to visit them four times. The destination of the hike I'm writing about today was the Téry Cottage. Téry Cottage is the highest year-round mountain hut in the entire High Tatras. It lies at the very beginning of the Valley of the Five Spiš Ponds at an altitude of 2015m above sea level. Surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Tatras, including Łomnický štít (2634m above sea level) and Ľadový štít (2627m above sea level), it is the perfect place to admire the magnificent and rugged high-mountain landscapes. Słowackie Tatry oferują ogromną ilość szlaków turystycznych mniej lub bardziej wymagających. Jak dotąd miałem okazję odwiedzić je czterokrotnie. Celem wedrówki, o której dzisiaj dla Was piszę, była Chata Téryego. Chata Téryego to najwyżej położone całoroczne schronisko w całych Tatrach Wysokich. Leży na samym początku
