Hi again ! This past weekend I began to attempt to put together my first collage/mixed media piece using some of the papers I had previously created. Here is where it is for now. Of course I did a few things backwards immediately, but I knew with overlap and layering and all that stuff, it would be somewhat correctable. I have used a piece of stretched canvas this time, because that is what I already had here. They go on a great sale a couple of times a year, so I always stock up for my regular painting. I did paint the sides first though. If a piece has sides, to me it is never "ready to hang" if they are left raw. The world.... according to Jacey ! I got to this point of having the background covered. It's almost a mountain at sunset.... or sunrise. Somehow, when I got here, I wasn't sure what to do with it next.... really, no clue.
