Although Netflix released a documentary series in 2023 about the events surrounding this family, I never watched it. So, I decided to give this fictional series a chance, and I was impressed by the Murdaugh family and how their dynasty fell apart. I only watched the series because of the two main actors, Jason Clarke and Patricia Arquette. They steal the show. Jason Clarke plays Alex Murdaugh, and he was a very unpleasant character. Pot-bellied, arrogant, addicted to pills, a womanizer, a con man, believing himself to be above the law because of his family lineage. The truth is, I found the whole family unpleasant.
