Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great and have a nice spring days. In the previous post, I wrote about my last trip to Lasko, Slovenia, so in the coming days I will share some more impressive spots of this place. This was not my first visit to Lasko, but it was my first visit to the historical sites on the hills above this place. Every time we were there we looked at the imposing church with two domes high in the hills from the foot of the town. It was the Shmichel (Šmihel) church, we learned from the locals. It is a 17th-century building constructed in the Baroque style. Our visit to Shmihel (St Michael) Church in Laško started with a simple moment of curiosity. From the distance, it looked peaceful and inviting, almost like it was calling us to come closer and that was enough to make us want to climb up and see it for ourselves.
