"A Monochrome Vertical Morning" might seem like an overly descriptive title for a photo series. But it was precisely the first phrase that came to mind when I saw all these photos together after investing a little over three hours selecting them from my files, processing them, and editing them to share with you here on #Hive. Also, when I decided on this title, I remembered my late father, who, in the midst of his frequent "occasions of folk wisdom" (as my mother called them, which often occurred when Dad overindulged in his taste for good whiskey 😂), used to say something like: "You have to say what you think, without thinking too much about it." And well, that's how I sometimes act, although I admit I don't have that level of "strange freedom" that my father had, who didn't care too much about the consequences of saying what he was thinking.
