Photographing in the countryside, especially on foggy mornings from the paths that wind through the pastures, fills me with an overwhelming sense of emptiness. It doesn't matter if it's a familiar place, a landscape I know perfectly. The truth is, that white blanket of fog on the horizon, the backdrop of each scene, has the power to deceive my mind and ignite my imagination. That's why, on occasions like this, when the weather and location align perfectly, I can spend hours taking photos, focusing my camera lens on the minimalism created when the dry, uneven grass is dramatically highlighted by the emptiness of the fog as it slowly drifts across the rural landscape. And it's not just the grasslands; at times the road itself becomes a complex scene, a picture of silence and calm. And there, too, it's necessary to take the shot that captures that feeling, stealing a moment like that from time...
