I am in Venezuela where the words “economic crisis” have been a constant protagonist for decades for the majority of the population. Besides, I am in Montalban, a small and sparsely populated town in the central region of the country and in this type of town the effects of the economic problems are felt and appreciated in a harder way. So, buying and maintaining a new vehicle is not something that everyone can do, plus many people here simply decide to stay with our vehicles longer than is common for people in other places. All this has as a consequence that I can continuously observe many “old things with wheels in the streets” and I am not only talking about cars and trucks, I am also talking about bicycles, motorcycles and even some wheelbarrows which end up being part of the streetscape of the town...
