Today I had planned for my long bike ride to the outskirts of town to be filled with photographs of landscapes with clear horizons, paths with people coming and going, pastures with cows and a few curious sheep watching me pass by or when I stopped to take their pictures. But it couldn't be that way, because although we had a clear sunrise with pristine skies, the fog appeared suddenly and began its slow morning advance towards the valley, covering everything. The sun's disk hovered as if wanting to make itself seen, but it was just a hint of what it had been minutes before. And that's how it sometimes happens here; the fog comes and stills everything, and it comes accompanied by silence. It was those very silences that I dedicated myself to photographing today, and whose images I share with you here on #Hive...
