Today I intended to go out quickly and do some shopping in the morning. But I had barely walked 20 meters from my front door when, as I turned the corner, an elderly woman, a complete stranger to me, almost bumped into me. Without even greeting me, she said, "What a miracle you're out without your camera today," and with unexpected agility for someone her age, she dodged me and kept walking without turning around. I stood there, watching her leave and disappear around the next corner. I immediately assumed she was dead, as her clothes were old, somewhat dirty, and even torn. Besides, the street was deserted, and it felt unusually cold. But, whatever the case, I heeded "whoever that old woman was" and went back home.
