The mornings in my town lately have been perfectly clear, but you also have to be careful to go hiking very early to avoid being caught in the midday heat in places far from shelter and water. I say this because we're having the hottest days of the year so far, with temperatures easily reaching 30°C by 10:00 AM and climbing close to 38°C around midday and well into the afternoon. So, when I took these photos, I started climbing a mountain trail around 8:00 AM and tried to get back to the town streets and home as quickly as possible. But, in any case, I loved having my camera with me and taking advantage of all that morning light, while also creating visual compositions with the trees, the landscape, and—of course—those perfectly clear skies I've mentioned here...
